Zurich launches fully digital life insurance solution with Swiss Re's iptiQ
Successful product launch
Zurich, 13 March 2023 - This successful product launch is the result of the close collaboration between iptiQ and Zurich Insurance. iptiQ's innovative platform enables automated medical underwriting, whereby the respective insurance risk is calculated through an intuitive online questionnaire.
As a result, Zurich customers can take out an individual term life insurance policy within 15 minutes, protecting selected family members as well as personal or business partners against financial shortfalls in the event of an unexpected death.
Sandro Meyer, Head of Pensions and member of Zurich Switzerland's Executive Board, said: "With the launch of 'LifeProtect direct', we are offering a completely digital customer journey that makes term life insurance more accessible. iptiQ's innovative technology enables fast and user-friendly processes, aimed at providing our customers with the best possible financial protection for their peace of mind."
