Carl Christensen Head L&H Solutions

Carl Christensen is Global Head of Swiss Re's Life & Health Solutions. Focusing on Swiss Re's existing data and platforms in the field of underwriting and claims, Carl is also responsible for driving new solutions for clients globally.

Prior to this role, Carl was Chief Executive Officer, iptiQ Life EMEA. Under Carl's leadership, iptiQ Life became the largest life insuretech in Europe through its white-labeled tech-based offering.

Before joining Swiss Re, Carl worked at Swiss Life International for 10 years. During his tenure, he built up several new insurance carriers in Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Carl started his career as a management consultant, spending 3 years with Anderson Consulting/Accenture. Carl is a Swedish/Swiss citizen.

He holds a degree in International Business &  Management from the University of Oxford Brooks, United Kingdom.
