Chris joined Swiss Re in June 2019 and was appointed interim iptiQ CUO in April 2023, responsible for designing market-leading insurance products and delivering strong underwriting results.
Previously, Chris was Head Global Portfolio Management at iptiQ, responsible for portfolio steering and performance monitoring, with the aim to optimize growth and profit margins. In addition to this, Chris was responsible for the pricing, product development and underwriting in APAC and US.
Chris has over 15 years' experience in the insurance industry and has held various roles in Australia, Hong Kong and US, focusing on data analytics, pricing, product development and portfolio steering. He is customer focused and is passionate about providing protection for customers to give them lasting peace of mind. Combining his deep wealth of knowledge of the insurance industry and interest in utilizing the advancements in technology in new propositions, he is determined on closing the protection gap by making insurance more accessible and personalized for today's customers.
Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia (FIAA) and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. He is based in Hong Kong.
